Job Summary:

Dawn Meats are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our logistics team. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to start their career in logistics and supply chain management as well as candidates with some years of experience looking to advance their expertise in the field. The Logistics Coordinator will assist in coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods, ensuring efficient and timely delivery. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Coordination: Schedule and monitor pickup and delivery times with transportation providers.
• Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including preparing and organising the payment of invoices.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and assist in managing stock to ensure availability.
• Communication: Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
• Problem-Solving: Address logistical challenges and develop solutions to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• A 3rd level degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
