Job Title: Intakes Coordinator

 

Location: Carrolls Cross Co. Waterford  

 

Reporting To: Intakes Manager

 

Role Summary:

Dawn Meats Carrolls Cross are recruiting an Intake Coordinator to join us and be an integral part of the Intake Team at our Retail site. Your key focus will be the maintenance of accurate and timely information on the Stock Management System and reconciliation of Purchase Orders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital, as you will be working closely with other departments across the business e.g. Finance, Production, Purchasing and Logistics. On a daily basis, you will compile reports for the Intake Management Team ensuring all information is accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing Production requirements, raising Purchase Orders to meet those requirements and updating delivery Schedule.
  • Reconcile all delivery information with purchase orders and highlighting any discrepancies/quality issues as required.
  • Loading and unload containers & handling paperwork.
  • Receive products onto site stock systems and locate correctly into storage rooms/chills/freezers.
  • Ensuring stocks are correct & adhere to correct stock rotation procedure.
  • Selecting correct raw material for production.
  • Checking yields, visual lean reports, stocks at the end of production and investigate/report any issues in line with company procedures.
  • Follow up on the completion of relevant check sheets in line with company procedures and compile reports to managers and feedback of any issues or claims to suppliers.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with other internal departments including production, purchasing and finance departments.
  • Other associated administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Good level of written and verbal English and computer skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service.
  • Flexible approach to work and be prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
  • Forklift licence beneficial but not necessary as training will be provided.
