Job Title: Beef Boning Hall Quality Controller

Reporting To: Technical Manager

Role Summary:

Dawn Meats Kildare are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller to join our Production team in the Beef Boning Hall. The Quality Controller will be responsible for ensuring that all Beef products leaving the production line meet the highest quality standards and that all packaging is correct. This role involves monitoring the production process, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Your role will see you tackle a wide range of business challenges in a busy quality and production environment. The successful Candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitor the production line to ensure that all Beef products meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of Beef products and packaging.
• Identify and report any quality issues or defects in the products or packaging.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control activities.
• Collaborate with production staff to address and resolve quality issues.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency

The ideal Candidate will have or demonstrate:

• Fluent English, excellent communications skills and be able to interact with colleagues in all departments.
• The ability to work to strict deadlines and targets.
• Have good problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and be analytical.
• Accurate data and record keeping skills.
• Flexibility is a key requirement of this role in order to meet the seasonal demands of the business
• Previous QC experience not essential but desired.
