Role Summary:

Dawn Meats are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Team Member

Working as part of the Quality team to support the production team by ensuring that the quality of the product is checked and assessed within the production facility.

The successful Candidate will be responsible for:

• Work to an operational schedule to complete quality and due diligence checks on product, to ensure that it meets required customer and legal specifications.
• Carry out pre-start and production checks in production areas daily.
• Record and regularly report product quality information and feedback to the quality team.
• Collection of product and environmental samples.
• Aiding production staff where necessary regarding product safety and quality control procedures.

The ideal Candidate will have or demonstrate:

• Precious experience is desirable; however, candidate will receive full training on site and will have the opportunity to progress within the Quality department through training.
• Good communicational skills.
• Team working skills.
• Have good problem-solving skills and be able to use own initiative.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must be flexible and able to support QC team members.
